The Schwab Winery is situated about 12 kilometers away from Würzburg in Thüngersheim. The picturesque village is surrounded by a town wall and old town gates. Our winery lies outside the old village. You are welcome to wine tastings for 12 to 70 people. If you like we also offer you a snack with the tasting. Enjoy our vineyards or our cellar in a guided tour. During summer we present cultural events in our winery. Or enjoy the combination of wine and cheese in a "cheese seminar."

The vintners association Retzbach is an alliance of 70 different vintners, who commercialize their products themselves. We run a wine tavern that is open every Saturday from 6 pm. The rustic wine cellar is ideal for family parties or busi- ness talks. We offer the whole range of food, from a simple snack to a 4-course menu. We also offer wine tastings for 20 to 75 persons. Price: from € 8.50 per person.

Our wine shop is in the center of the village. "Weinhaus Benediktusberg" offering the whole range of Retzbach Wines. Opening hours: Thursday and Friday: 4 pm to 7 pm, Saturday: 10 am to 12 pm. On Sundays from 3 pm we offer coffee and home made cake and typical Franconian dishes.

 
Winzerkeller Sommerach eG, Sommerach

The "Winzerkeller Sommerach," the oldest vintner's cooperative in Franconia has 240 members who cultivate more than 400 acres, and they do that on a high quality level. Today the "Winzerkeller" is one of the most awarded wineries in Franconia. Last year they got a special award from the trade journal "Alles überWein" as one of the best wine producer world wide. Something special is the historic wine cellar with the old wooden barrels. They also offer rustic tasting rooms and a modern wine market. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p.m. from the middle of April to the middle of September guided tours through the cellar are offered. Wine tastings by appointment (min. 20 persons, max. 100 persons).
